Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1998 and its subsequent sale on August 25th of the same year. Further accompanied by Patek Philippe winding box, leather folder, Certificate of Origin dated August 25th, 1998 and instruction pamphlet.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

Production of the reference 5040 in yellow gold began in 1992 with the pink gold verision coming to the market in 1994.
