Both blades honzukuri, iorimune, chu-kissaki, forging pattern mokume with masame, the katana tempering pattern gunome-midare, kaen style komaru boshi, o-suriage tang with two holes, 26¼in. (66.7cm.) long; the wakizashi tempering pattern gunome, komaru boshi, o-suriage tang with two holes (one plugged), 19 3/8in. (49.2cm.) long; in shirasaya
The matching koshirae of black lacquer with aogai design, with shakudo nanakoji mokko-gata tsuba decorated with dragons among waves in takabori and taka-zogan with gilt details, shakudo nanakoji fuchi-kashira decorated with dragons in gilt taka-zogan; gilt menuki in the form of dragons, gilt nanakoji kogai for the katana with a dragon, kozuka for katana missing, shakudo nanakoji kozuka and kogai for the wakizashi with dragons, katana 38½in.
