Marked Fabergé, with the workmaster's mark of August Hollming, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Rectangular with rounded corners, enameled in translucent mauve over a wavy guilloché ground, opening to reveal three hinged compartments, the cover of one fitted with a mirror and ivory tablet, enclosing a foliate pierced hinged clasp, the edges set with moonstone push-pieces and a removable pencil with a moonstone finial, in the original silk and velvet lined case stamped, 'Fabergé St. Petersburg Moscow, London,' fully marked inside
