Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe undated Certificate of Origin stamped by Ulrich und Knorren GmbH, one of the company's retailers in Germany, and confirming production of the present watch with two-tone silvered dial and white gold Breguet numerals. Furthermore delivered with the original sales tag, instructions booklet, fitted brown wooden presentation box and outer packaging. To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before.

Inspired by Patek Philippe's charismatic Calatrava model from the 1930s, an effigy of timeless elegance, reference 5196P features a platinum case and a highly attractive two-tone silvered dial. Reminiscent of the dials from the period, it combines a satin-finish centre combined with applied white gold Breguet numerals.
