Lot Essay

The brands APCO and Audiguet were launched by Audemars Piguet in 1947 with the aim of providing less expensive watches in parallel with the top-of-the-range models. Their production was ceased by the end of the 1950s.

For a detailed description of these brands see Audemars Piguet by Gisbert L. Brunner, Christian Pfeiffer-Belli, Martin K. Wehrli, first edition, pp. 36 & 37.
