Folio (290 x 210 mm). Publisher's printed prospectus laid-in. 20 black and white photo-collages, some with colour, printed on white paper. Original pale-green card covers, designed by Marcel Duchamp, sewn in Japanese style with black thread (light wear, back cover lightly faded, a few small areas on the front cover with the colour touched-up); custom chemise and slipcase.

FIRST EDITION OF THIS LANDMARK SURREALIST BOOK with striking photo-collage compositions. Man Ray photographed the Duchamp readymade ('Why Not Sneeze, Rrose Sélavy') reproduced on the Duchamp-designed covers. Limited to 294 copies only, this one number 215 of 250 on papier velin. 101 Books, pp.92-3.
