With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming dates of manufacture and sale.

Reference 1593 was launched in 1944. For over 20 years the model was available in gold, very few examples in platinum. The present watch is fitted with the attractive diamond-set dial and represents a most elegant and rare version of the reference 1593.

The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 128 & 129 and 141 & 142.
