Designed as a squatting lion, with a cabochon sapphire head, and collet-set diamond eyes and mouth, with sculpted platinum whiskers, extending a sculpted gold mane, to the circular and single-cut diamond and calibré-cut sapphire body, with calibré-cut ruby feet, mounted in platinum and gold, circa 1957
