AN ART NOUVEAU WATERCOLOR AND DIAMOND HAND FAN
Designed as a collapsible hand fan, the 18k gold sticks decorated at the center with a pierced rose-cut diamond symbol of the city of Paris, the guard sticks trimmed with rose-cut diamonds, extending a double-sided paper leaf, depicting a view of the Seine from Pont Alexandre III, the reverse depicting the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1900, 12 5/8 x 18 1/8 ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks, in an Exposition Universelle green leather fitted case
