The present watch is amongst the most beautiful and best preserved examples of the successful and sought after reference 565 to appear in public in recent years. Its dial, finished in a most charismatic two-tone colour scheme, combined with the very technical yet smooth case proportions add up to a perfect look. It is impressive how the sharp edges have survived in such crisp condition over nearly 60 years of existence.
Fresh to the market, it is furthermore believed to be one of only four examples of reference 565 featuring this two-tone dial layout to appear in public to date. The four dials however all show subtle differences, hence rendering each watch unique in a way.
