Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1970 and its subsequent sale on 9 December 1970. Furthermore delivered with copy of Patek Philippe servicing invoice dated 17 October 2008, fitted burgundy red presentation box and outer packaging.

Following its overhaul in the workshops of Patek Philippe only last year, the watch has not been used and is preserved in excellent overall condition, still retaining the International Customer Service sticker to the back. To the best of our knowledge, it has never been offered in public before.

Introduced into the market in 1967, reference 3546 was the very first model of the "Ellipse" series, initiating the success story of this celebrated wristwatch in production for over 40 years.
