Shaped circular with gadrooned rim, later engraved with the Royal arms with a label for difference within the Garter motto and with Royal duke's coronet above, each marked on the back, the backs of seventeen further engraved with a scratchweight '19=5'; '18=8'; '18=18'; '18=17'; '18=18'; '19=5'; '18=18'; '18=19'; '19=2'; '18=9'; '18=12'; '19=6'; '19=5'; '19=5'; '19=0'; '17=16' and '19=6'
