LATE 17TH CENTURY, MANGANESE SHIELD FLANKED BY B A MARKS
The centres painted in manganese with birds flanked by stylised plants and rockwork, within borders of radiating lobed panels of scrolling flowers and foliage, the underside with a band of stylised fronds and quatrefoils (both with slight chipping to rims and footrims)
