Note:
This painting comes from the collection of Paul & Charlotte William. The Williams lived in Sao Paulo in Brazil between 1949 and 1956, where they met Zhang Daqian, who had also immigrated to Brazil. Mrs. William was well versed in Chinese; she met Zhang frequently and received Mount E'mei as a gift.
