Note:
Huang Junbi taught Chinese painting at the Guangzhou City Art Academy at the time of its inception around 1926 and met Chen Zhenqing at the same time. Although Huang later emmigrated to Taiwan, he still made the effort to get together with his friends in Hong Kong, visiting in 1962 Wu Yifeng's exhibition. At that time Huang also gifted his painting of a magpie to Chen at the Yuen Yuen Institute.
