SIGNED JOHN TORBOCK, MANCHESTER, MOVEMENT NO. 156, CIRCA 1690
Finely engraved gilt full-plate verge movement, chain fusée, decorative tappered pillars, engraved silver dial with eccentric dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic numerals, fan-form sector with phases of the moon and sun, aperture at 8 o'clock for hours, aperture at 6 o'clock with the mock pendulum, aperture at 4 o'clock to lock the movement inside the case, inner hinged polished case, outer polished case, dial and movement signed, inner case stamped SC
Outer case 59mm diam., inner case 52mm diam.
