A "MANDARIN PALETTE" AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE GARNITURE OF THREE VASES AND COVERS
CIRCA 1785
Comprising two baluster vases and covers and a quadrangular vase and cover, all enameled front and back with lakeside garden scenes of Chinese families at leisure pursuits, the necks with Western figures strolling before river landscapes, all between underglaze blue floral and lappet borders, blue and gilt lion-mask ring-handles at the shoulders, the covers with sepia landscapes and Buddhist lion finials
