Torse masculin debout
stamped with the signature, dated and numbered 'A.Rodin No. 9 © 1971' (on the base of the right leg and on the stem); inscribed with the foundry mark 'Susse Fondeur Paris' (on the underside of the left leg)
bronze with brown and green patina
Height: 6 3/8 in. (16 cm.)
Conceived in 1885-1890 and cast between 1969 and 1974 in an edition of twelve plus one for the Musée Rodin; this work cast in June 1971

Galerie Hughette Bérès, Paris, by whom acquired from the above in June 1972.

Acquired by the present owner in Japan at the beginning of 2000.
