Lot Essay

Owned by Sheikh Hamdam al-Maktoum and trained by Chantilly based trainer Freddie Head, Tamayuz was unbeaten as a two year old. Described as 'one of the best milers to have raced in France in recent years', in the 2008 season, victories at Deauville and Chantilly, among others, saw Tamayuz achieve a record of 5 win from 6 races.
Since his retirement from racing, Tamayuz has been based at Sheikh Hamdam's Derrinstown Stud in Ireland, where his exceptional breeding and racing pedigree have ensured that his services are in demand from many breeders.
