Lot Essay

There is more than a touch of Hollywood glamour to this extraordinary work by Adham Wanly. Depicting a fellah and a fellaha in mutual embrace against the romantic backdrop of the Nile Valley, it is reminscent of that famous clinch of Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, immortalized on billboards throughout the world in advertisements for Gone With The Wind.
