Set with a cushion-cut sapphire, weighing approximately 27.07 carats, within an old European-cut diamond surround, to the old mine-cut diamond bail, mounted in silver-topped gold, circa 1890, in a worn green velvet fitted case
With report CS 41734 dated 19 February 2010 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that based on available gemological information, it is the opinion of the Laboratory that the origin of this sapphire would be classified as Burma (Myanmar). Heat enhancement: None
