the complete magazine number, containing Pharmacy (S. 283), a rectified readymade with hand-coloring, after the original readymade of 1914, signed and dated in pencil, signed on the end paper by the contributors, on wove paper, copy 56/100, pale foxing towards the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, bound (as issued), original cloth and paper-covered boards, stamped '56' on the cover (pale staining and foxing on the spine). 13 x 10¼ in. (328 x 260 mm.); together with Le Fourchette du Cavalier (S. 491), the cover for VVV Almanac for 1943 with cardboard cut in the form of a woman's torso and chicken wire
