Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, raised Breguet numerals in steel and tachometer scale in 1941 and its subsequent sale on 27 October 1942.

This reference 130 is undeniably amongst the most popular versions of any wristwatch in today's collectors market, featuring the much sought after stainless steel case and Breguet numerals, all confirmed by the Extract. Never been offered at auction before, it is believed to be one of only eleven examples of such reference 130 to be known publicly.

With its understated stainless steel case and the artful Breguet numerals, the present one-thirty is not only a great collector's wristwatch but also a fantastic companion for every day wear, be it casual or formal.
