Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 18K pink gold and with gold hour markers in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 28 January 1955. Furthermore delivered with 18K pink gold solid screw back numbered 676'541, ref. 2483.

Reference 2483 was in production from 1950 until the mid 1950s, the models were available with subsidiary seconds or sweep centre seconds. It is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 182, pl. 290.
