On shaped oval base set with two maenads, one playing a mandolin, and bacchic putti, the baluster stem with a knop of musical putti, the leaf-capped scroll branches applied with serpents and hung with ewers and fish, each terminating in a winged putto supporting a vase-shaped socket and circular waxpan, with similar central light, the base applied twice with a vacant cartouche with crown above, marked on base, stem, one branch, sockets and cartouches, the central finial apparently unmarked, with weighted base
