The tripod base with lion's-paw supports with ring joins, the jug baluster with wood handle and hinged cover, gadrooned borders throughout, engraved with a crest on the frame and burner, another crest on the body, marked on jug, cover, stand and wick sleeve, the burner apparently unmarked, the jug 1810, the stand and wick sleeve 1811
