Waltham Watch Company was founded in the early twentieth century and they were known for their traditional and classic designs. Before their cessation in 1953, they had produced over 33,000,000 watch movements. The Waltham Masonic wristwatch is quite a significant piece for watch collectors as well as Masons because of its rarity and symbolism - the dial featuring the symbolic Masonic working tools of the many degrees with the regenerating Rising Phoenix in the centre and the all-seeing Eye of Providence at 12 o' clock. Engraved on the bezel is the unbroken chain of Brotherly Love and Affection and at the apex of the triangle, a compass within a circle, a measurement of the virtue and conduct upheld by the Freemasons.
