The cartouche-shaped frame chased and applied with scrolling foliage and berries, on two foliage-capped scroll feet, the crest centred by a crowned coat-of-arms in a strapwork cartouche flanked by two putti, the apron centred by the bust of a man in period costume, marked on top, bottom and edge of frame and on feet
