CIRCA 1800, PERHAPS HERCULANEUM
Transfer printed and coloured with the Death of Wolfe at Quebec with Fame blowing a trumpet with a banner dated 1759 in clouds above, the reverse with BRITANIA (sic.) REWARDING THE GALLANT RODNEY. on a ribbon below, a group of military trophies beneath the spout, the top rim with a brown band with white pendant lappets with swags of blue foliage below (restoration to spout, slight chipping and staining to footrim)
