Suspending a detachable pendant, centering upon a cushion-cut purplish pink sapphire, weighing approximately 8.60 carats, within a two-tiered graduated oval-cut diamond surround, from a marquise-cut diamond link, to the collet-set diamond longchain necklace, mounted in platinum, 51 ins., (accompanied by an additional platinum longchain necklace, set with an alternating series of collet-set oval-cut rubies and circular-cut diamonds, 57 ins.)
With report 2125557577 dated 1 September 2010 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that it is an expert opinion, based on a collection of observations and analytical data, that the geographic origin of the purplish pink sapphire is Burma (Myanmar). No indications of heating (3)
