To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered at auction before. It is furthermore believed to the one of only two examples of a reference 2488 in platinum with diamond-set dial, all confirmed by the Extract from the Archives, to appear in public to date. Consigned by a private collector, the watch is preserved in very good, original overall condition.
