With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised hour markers in steel in 1924 and its subsequent sale on 9 February 1943.

This watch is believed to be the only second example of a reference 735 in stainless steel to appear in public to date. The model is distinguished by its unusually large size.
