Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and raised hour markers in rose gold in 1940 and its subsequent sale on 4 March 1941. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe brown presentation box also stamped Freccero y Cia, Montevideo, Unicos Agentas.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch is one of only two examples of reference 600 in pink gold case with black dial, confirmed by the Extract from the Archives, known to date and furthermore the only one retailed by Freccero, Patek Philippe's distinguished retailer in Montevideo, Uruguay.
