Decorated repoussé, champlevé and cloisonné enamel, scrolling and stylized foliage, mother-of-pearl ground, scent compartment surmounted by three painted on enamel winged cherub's masks, side panels painted on enamel with scenes of Lake Como, the Borromeo Islands and the Valle du Simplon, corners with painted on enamel flower bouquets, winged cherub's mask painted on enamel at the base, decorated hinged handle with a Crown set with graduated pearls, rubies, emeralds and turquoises
