Full plate gilt-finished movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, gilt cuvette, dial with Breguet numerals on white enamel chapter ring, blued steel serpentine hands, centred by an applied vari-coloured gold neoclassical landscape, an automaton scene depicting punch fighting chronos appearing to the upper part in unison with the hour repeating, two cherubs below apparently striking the quarter hours in unison with the repeating, in circular case with ribbed band, engine-turned back, repeating through the pendant, case and cuvette numbered

The present watch is a particularly attractive and well preserved examples of an early 19th century watch with repeating and automatons. It is noteworthy to mention that it features 4 automatons, composed of two cherubs at the lower and another two appearing in the aperture when activating the repeating. The latter are depicting punch fighting chronos. It is also noteworthy that his watch is preserved in remarkably good condition.
