Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Christiaan van der Klaauw Certificate of Guarantee dated March 2007, presentation box, product literature and outer packaging.

The Ariadne collection takes it inspiration from the Greek myth of the immortal wife of Dionysus. She was to be the wife of Theseus for her help as the hero made his way through the labyrinth to kill the Minotaur. Rather than marry Ariadne he left her on Naxos Island where she was found by Dionysus.
