The eared rectangular egg-and-leaf moulded surround enclosing a blue velvet covered top, the frieze inset to front and back with porcelain plaques finely painted with pastoral figures, the sides with porcelain plaques painted with Marie-Antoinette's monogram, on capped tapering-fluted legs joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher centred by an urn with pine cone finial
