The rectangular double-ratchetted top above a pair of panelled doors enclosing eight mahogany-lined drawers, each with a hinged fall front and ebony knob handles, with false doors to the reverse, on a plinth base, stamped 'GILLOWS', the lock stamped 'BRAMAH 124 PICCADILLY, originally with castors
