The central oval closed-back cabochon sapphire within a calibré ruby and old-cut diamond octagonal surround to diamond, ruby and emerald crown surmount and openwork tapering shoulders with diamond and ruby flowerhead and ribbon detail and green enamel foliate decoration, to a pierced back section, the reverse with painted enamel miniature depicting the goddess Shiva
