In 1993, Audemars Piguet created a collection dedicated to extremes: the Royal Oak OffShore. Endowed with an impressive size, it gave a whole new dimension to the first luxury sports watch.

The "Royal Oak OffShore T3" chronograph was developed in 2003 in close cooperation with Arnold Schwarzenegger who wore the model in his movie "Terminator 3, Rise of the Machines". It was made in a limited edition of 1000 examples. The largest model of the OffShore series ever made by the master watchmakers of Le Brassus, it features specially designed bridges to protect the crown and the chronograph buttons. The case material titanium does not only render it more resistant to corrosion and scratches but also surprisingly light for its size.
