Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with enamel dial, Breguet hour markers, small second hand and engraved initials "A.A.W." on the cuvette in 1907 and its subsequent sale on 15 June 1926.

Pocket watches by Patek Philippe with Guillaume balance are generally found in openface cases. Hunting cased examples, such as the present watch, are rare.
