Lot Essay

Set with the impressive amount of 148 diamonds with an approximate weight between 18 and 22 carats, the present wristwatch is furthermore distinguished by its excellent, close to new overall condition.

A similar "Mini-Tank Rivière" but in platinum and diamonds is prominently illustrated in Platinum by Cartier - Triumphs of the Jeweler's Art by Franco Cologni and Eric Nussbaum, p. 259.
