PROBABLY HANAU, CIRCA 1922; WITH MARK OF BERTHOLD HERMANN MUELLER AND LONDON IMPORT MARKS FOR 1922
With a figurehead of Triton, the hull decorated with chased panels of Venus on one side and Poseidon on the other, surrounded by figures fighting serpents, gunports with lids, and dolphin rudder, planking over the entire hull; a two-tiered deck detailed with figures, railings, colored lanterns, stairways, canopy covered quarterdeck with officers drinking and eating; rigged with bowspirit with pulpit, three masts, crow's nests, cross spars, standing and running rigging, and fitted with a suit of shaped sails and flags, all set on wheels; on stand with brass framed clear case, marked on hull, deck, sails, and wheels, also stamped with standard mark 935
