Cylindrical body embossed with flowers, foliage and "C" scrolls, raised on three lion couchant and ball feet, handle decorated with bearded mask above beaded rat-tail, cover with lion rampant finial supporting a vacant escutcheon, the front with inscribed cartouche Lagos Races, April 1911, The Governor's Cup, won by Capt. C.H.Crosthwait's "Bush King"
