Lot Essay

The present work bears the inscription: Presented to Adolph D. Bendheim on his seventieth birthday by the directors, officers and counsel of the Metropolitan Tobacco Company in appreciation of his inspiring example and as a token of their affection and esteem. December 16th, 1919.
