MAKER'S MARK 'C.B', POSSIBLY FOR CARL BLANK, ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890, BEARING FABERGÉ MARK
The tau-shaped nephrite handle, mounted with a yellow gold collar, enamelled in translucent blue on wavy and diaper-pattern guilloché ground, applied with trellis cagework set with seed-pearls, within ribbon-tied reeded borders, with screw fastener at base, marked inside lower mount
