Circular, on four ram's-hoof feet connected by a cross-stretcher supporting a burner with ivory handle, the lower section of the body with repoussé gadroons, flanked by two scroll handles with insulators, the spout formed as a porpoise's head, with anthemion tap, the hinged cover with pellet border and chased with radiating gadroons centring an artichoke finial, the body and burner detachable from the support, the burner marked under base; the mount marked on rim; the samovar marked under cover and base
