MARKED K. FABERGÉ WITH THE IMPERIAL WARRANT, WITH THE WORKMASTER'S MARK OF ANDERS NEVALAINEN, ST PETERSBURG, 1899-1903, SCRATCHED INVENTORY NUMBER 7885
Rectangular with rounded corners, the hinged cover set with a silver coin depicting Emperor Peter I part-enamelled in translucent red over a hatched guilloché ground and chased with a reeded sun-burst, the reverse with a conforming pattern emanating from a blank circular cartouche, with cabochon garnet thumb-piece, integral vesta compartment and tinder cord, the interior gilt, marked inside cover and base
