Rectangular, the Saint realistically painted, raising his right hand in benediction and holding the Gospels in his left hand, his silver-gilt vestments repoussé and chased with geometric design, the halo and spandrels cloisonné enamelled in shades of blue, white, green, pink and translucent red, set in a wooden kyot, marked on plaque
The icon 17¾ x 14 1/8 in. (45.1 x 35.9 cm.), the kyot 19¾ x 16¼ in. (50.1 x 41.2 cm.)
