Lot Essay

A native of Shunde, Guangdong, Chen Jinghong was a famous historian of Lingnan school and culture. During the time of the Republic, Chen was editor of a Guangzhou's Vietnam-Chinese Newspaper, and was director and editor of Hong Kong's Universal Circulating Herald when he moved to Hong Kong.
